Anchuli Felicia King and Tife Kusoro in conversation
Living Newspaper Clippings, is a new series of conversations between some of the writers and artists who are creating Living Newspaper at the Royal Court Theatre.
“One of the threads that I kept identifying through everybody’s pieces was the sense of inheritance, and generational legacy. It was kind of in every piece actually, the sense of what we inherit from our fore-bearers – not just intergenerational trauma, but intergenerational strength. And how you get strength from those relationships.”
In this episode of Living Newspaper Clippings, writers Anchuli Felicia King (White Pearl) and Tife Kusoro (My White Best Friend (and Other Letters Left Unsaid), Royal Court’s Lynne Gagliano Writers’ Award recipient) chat about creating their Protest Aunties and WhatsApp aunty for Edition 2 of Living Newspaper.
Living Newspaper Clippings is available to listen on Apple Podcasts and you can also stream this episode on our website here.
