I See You nominated for four Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards

Mongiwekhaya’s I See You , a co-production between Royal Court Theatre and the Market Theatre Johannesburg, has been nominated for Best New South African Script at the 52^nd annual Fleur De Cap Theatre Awards.

Also nominated are Desmond Dube for Best Lead Actor In A Play, Lunga Radebe for Best Performance By A Supporting Actor In A Play and Noma Dumezweni for Best Director.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday 19 March in Cape Town.

I See You was presented as part of International Playwrights: A Genesis Foundation Project. It was developed during the Royal Court’s new writing project in South Africa which began in 2013. The project was supported by the British Council and Connect ZA. It has been nominated for its run at the Fugard Theatre in Cape Town after being performed in London at the Royal Court and in Johannesburg at the Market Theatre.
